Winding down!

Well, it's almost 10 p.m. and some days it feels like you'll never get to bedtime.  Then, when you do, you are sad that the day has ended.  It started with a trip to the YMCA after breakfast, and guess what?  LJ didn't cry for more than 2 minutes!  Lance put him in the childcare today because I was a wimp, but he did so well!!!  He found some books that he has at home, played with them, and then they said he "jumped up" when he heard doodlebops come on the radio.  For those of you who aren't acquainted with the doodlebops, they aren't the coolest, but to toddlers they are hypnotizing.  He made it through about an hour.  We went and picked him up with a basketball, and we played hard till lunch time.  it was great!!!  A huge victory, I think!

This afternoon, my coffee and tea came, ( I only ordered enough for spring training), so I'll have my little k-cup coffee in the morning, and I'm drinking some chamomile tea right now.  I know it sounds silly, but those are two things that bring me so much joy!  I even got this green tea with toasted brown rice and little popcorn kernels.  It was once considered the "poor-man's tea" in China, but now it has become popular again.  I guess if you wait long enough, everything comes back in style - even tea.

Lance is at the field right now, and he should be home soon.  He really seems to like his team and everything.  He is #22 -- a new number for him, but it suits him well. He has to wear his pant-legs up on this team, and he doesn't like it.  He says, though, that they have some "really cool hats".  I am taking cool hat orders - just send me an email.  April, I already have you down. :)  LJ and I went to our first game tonight and he got so excited, he was squatting, then standing up...squatting then standing up.  He just didn't know what to do with himself and was so full of it.  Last night it was raining, so we stayed in and watched it on t.v.  He wore his little jersey, (complete with Lance's name and number), and acted like he was swinging and throwing.  I have a video of it that I will download tomorrow and post.
That seems to be it...things here are beginning to follow the normal monotony, and it's nice to fall into a routine again.  God has blessed us with a home, fun new places to see and each other.  I hope that you have a had a good day and that you sleep well tonight.  I plan to!  It all starts again around 6 a.m.!
P.S.  I am posting a video below of LJ swimming - its recent, so you can see his improvement!
