good day

Well, the day started early , (yes, again! :)  ), but it was a good one.  Lance is the best...we are both putting in our effort to make sure the other gets rested.  I'll take care of LJ until a suitable hour of the morning, trying to let Lance sleep, but I know it's hard with all the noise!  After that, Lance takes LJ and Rookie out, then plays a bit so I can get some rest.  Then, I get up, (sometimes he even makes me coffee...absolutely the best husband), and he lays down for a bit.  Sometimes he makes it until after lunch, but today he needed to go a bit earlier.  Because of that, LJ and I went to Fells Point Park and played in the rain!!  We both love the rain, so it was a joy.  We went down the slide, fed the pigeons, played ball...it was great.  

He's still having the potty accidents, but he did so good...he had no problem going in the grass!!  I think it must be a man thing because he even told me he had to go.  At his age, I think potty training takes EXTRA determination, (mostly on his part), so I'm going to let him slack a little.  Outside, though, he's an eager student, ready to do his business by the tree :)  

He is so precious.  He has gotten to where he's so independent, he won't listen if he knows I want him to.  I've gotten to where I pick him up, above my head, and make him look down at me.  Before I can get my point across, we are laughing usually, but it's been my best effort to get him to look at me when he'd rather not.  

He's in bed early tonight...I wore him out at the swimming pool, and I'm praying that will get him at least until 6:30 a.m.  I'm SOOOO not a morning person, but I may be when he's through with me.  I told Granny today that the ONLY thing missing from my life is a little more sleep.  I am very blessed, huh?  

Well, I'm going to go lay in bed and read.  I got some cute pictures from the park, so I'll try to upload those tomorrow.
