Well, we had some sweet company this week. Some friends from baseball past, The Barber's, came to visit. We enjoyed a couple of days together after not seeing each other for about 3 years! Lance played with Scott in Lancaster and El Paso with the Diamondbacks. Baseball is such a cool thing because you meet people everywhere you go with whom you can stay in touch with for years to come. We appreciate them making the trip to see us with Baby Caroline in tow! I seriously had to fight tears when they left - I was seriously attached to that little girl!

SO great to see the baseball friends you haven't seen in ages...so weird too when you're all grown ups now with kiddos, right??? She is a beautiful little girl!

Oh, this makes me cry! We had SUCH a good time with you guys. It's a blessing that you're all over the country and we can connect once in a while. Thanks so much for the beautiful pictures to capture our visit. They'll be fun to look back on the next time we see each other!
P.S. Does this Jenn McPherson happen to be the wife of Dallas? He's infamous in the Barber household - he hit some very far homeruns off Scott back in the day! :)

um, can't believe I am just now reading this - they are so cute together! so glad that you all got a chance to visit - wish we could just snap our fingers and have a little reunion with all of the old gang....hugs!
