Great visit!

I can't write much because I have company!  Rachael and little Jackson have been here for 2 days, and it's been an awesome visit.  I'll post some pictures of the boys tomorrow afternoon.  I hope you guys are having a great week!

Jamie

Ms. Doris and Mr. Jackson let LJ sit on the bike - he was saying, "Go"...he's ready!

Enjoying a moment in the pool

Looks like he's up to something...

Splash!!

Those fountains are his favorite part of the pool...he's headed to hit them with his snorkel :)

It was a great day!  We went to the pool after a slow morning and ate some sandwiches there for lunch.  After LJ's nap, we went to work out...I did the best class!  It's called cross-fit and is tailored for athletes.  It worked me hard, and I know I'll be struggling to walk in the morning!! :)  I am crazy enough to love that!

LJ is down now, and I'm going to get a few things done before heading to bed.  My mom left this morning and my friend Rachael is coming from Tennessee with her son tomorrow.  It's been great -- friends and family have been in and out since we arrived.  They will stay till Thursday and we will head back to Baltimore on Sunday.  These weeks have FLOWN!!!!!  I can't wait to be back here this fall!!
I hope your day was great - we had another good one.  Looking forward to a few more.
Love,
Jamie

Easy day

Nothing much to report today - great day at church, rainy afternoon in and a nice visit with Me-Maw after she moved Uncle "B" in.  It was a good day, just missing Lance!  I hope your weekend ended peacefully as well!

Jamie

Home is wonderful!

Wow!  We are getting into such a routine now.  Before we start something, LJ is already asking to do it.  He knows just what we are going to do and when, and it's so nice to do these things here in our home.  He actually slept till 7:30 a.m. this morning, and he didn't have a potty accident all day!  What a kid!  :)
I just got home from helping my brother move into his new apartment.  My mom and some of his friends have been working all day, and the place is really coming together.  It's always so neat to see people who care about someone help them out...they have had a lot of help today, and it shows.  In our moves, we have had similar assistance, and it's always made us humble and grateful for what people will do out of love.  When finished, Beason's apartment will rival any T-town one bedroom - it's beautiful.
Earlier today after getting some of B's stuff loaded up, LJ and I went to the Smallwood's house to celebrate Rachael's graduation.  We actually walked in when they were doing a sweet "remember when..." around the table, and I felt so bad.  We interrupted the sweetest moment, but it was precious to be able to witness a big group of family and friends around the table celebrating the graduates.  Both Rachael and her brother just finished a condensed Masters program, and I know they enjoyed spending this day with family and friends.  We got to take some fun pictures there, as well, so that's what the more dressy pictures are from.
I hope your day was great.  Ours was!  My mom will be here any moment, ready to go to bed, so I'm signing off!

Jamie

So great to have Lance home!!

Just had to write a quick note saying how wonderful it is to have Lance home.  It's only for a few hours and he's headed out soon, but it was SO good to have him here!

On a side note, our AC broke again tonight.  Looks like an extensive electrical problem (the guy is here and may be here for A WHILE), but maybe we'll get to the bottom of it now.  If a breaker trips every two days, you have a problem.  LJ can't sleep in 90 degree heat, so it's got to be fixed!  We leave in about a week anyway, so we need to fix it for the sake of the power bill as well!
I hope you are well...it's been a great day here, (and I'm not just blowing hot air, haha!)

Jamie

Good night!

Well, it's time for bed and we just finished up bath time after playing with the Smallwoods at the playground by their house.  I forgot my camera, but I'll bring it next time.  LJ had a great time with Erik and "Rach", (as he calls her), swinging and sliding.

We spend the entire morning at the University Recreation pool.  It was a great day!  We had to take Rookie to get a haircut anyway, so while we were out, I figured we'd just spend the day there.  We were both so worn out when we got home that we took a little nap together.  These are special times.

Lance will be home for about 18 hours tomorrow!  He will get in around lunch time and leave before dawn the next morning.  It's ok, though ...when you go so long without seeing each other, every moment counts.  We don't have any big plans - maybe city cafe, a little bit of pool time, a good nap (he's traveling cross-country all night tonight) and a dinner in.  When he goes, it will only be ten more days before we are back in Baltimore again with him.  The baseball season is long, and this time each year, it seems the days apart creep by.  We'll get there, though!

I hope you had a good day -- Mom, I think you sent me a picture message to my phone, (good for you!) but you only showed your hair!  I think it looked like your hair, though...at least y'all are stepping out into the 21st century - text messages are a thing of 2008 for sure.  So proud of you for trying :)  If it wasn't you, I got a picture of someone else's hair that lives in the 251 area code.

Love you guys -- have a great night's sleep.  I"m headed to bed!  If I don't post tomorrow, I will the next day, and I'm sure I'll have pictures.
Love,
Jamie

Bath time!

Well, we were planning on heading to the pool, but the AC man is coming any time, so we decided to make an indoor pool!  I would have pulled out the monkey, but I think the lawn is being sprayed for weeds later.  LJ cracked me up in these bubbles...I just about jumped in with him because it looked like so much fun.  I posted some pictures of Kacy and Tomy earlier below, and these are from just a bit ago.  Have a great day!
