Photoshop

I'm trying to learn photoshop, and this is my first venture...a black and white photo with LJ's blue eyes!  It's not as easy to see if you don't click directly on the photo and look at the larger image.  I'm still working on learning all the "ins and outs" of Photoshop", and I'm VERY confused.  It's so fun, though!

Uh-Oh!

Well, we had an accident involving my computer screen today, so it's out of commission for the time being. We are headed to Birmingham in the coming days to see what we can do about getting it up and running again. Until then, we'll be able to email, etc. just not do the picture-thing. I'll keep you posted because I have some cute pictures to post of fun fall playtime outside. It's cold out there~!!

I hope you are well - we would love to catch up with you whenever you get the chance!
Love,
Jamie

All Caught up!!

I think I put like 6 new posts up tonight -- sorry I have fallen behind, but I think I'm all caught up now!!  Hope you enjoy!

Gameday!

What a fun day!  Alabama played Mississippi State tonight, and we had a blast!! Uncle B kept LJ, (so cool), while Lance, Sport and I headed to the game.  How fun are night games?  Super fun!!!  I hope you enjoy these pics from today.

Lance and his friend, Sport.  Sport is Lance's friend from home - they have been friends since high school.

Because of weird uploading, these pictures are a bit out of order...this was taken AFTER the game...Denny Chimes chiming in the background.  What a sweet sound!

The face of a boy ready to slide!

WEEEEEE!!!

LJ running in his back yard before nap time

Thanks for hanging with LJ, Uncle B!  He had such a great time...(and so did his parents!)

Lance and I enjoying a great game, not worrying about LJ getting hypothermia!

Roll Tide, Roll!  32 - 7 Final score...11-0, Baby!

Not today, Sylvester.  Not today.

North River Golfing

This Friday, Lance participated in a charity golf tournament here in Tuscaloosa.  It was benefiting Baseball Country out in the Ralph/Coker area, and it is run by Kenny Burns and our friend Andy Philips.  Lance is active in a few camps each off-season.  They mentor kids, (ages from about 7 - 14) teaching them baseball while showing and teaching of God's love.  If you have time, check it out -- it's a wonderful place!  I can't wait for LJ to go there one day.

The golf tournament benefiting Baseball Country was held near our house at the North River Yacht Club.  LJ and I rode with Lance and his foursome for the first nine holes, enjoying the beautiful images of fall!

A beautiful image from one of the holes

Taking a break with some goldfish

This one's for you, Maw-Maw!

Maw-Maw always gives me pomegranates from her tree, but this year I have had to buy my own so far!  Until we see her, we'll keep digging into our Publix pomegranates, but I wanted to show her that LJ shares my love for this special fruit.  He couldn't wait for me to get all the seeds out, so he was helping me finish up!  :)

Better Batter Baseball!!

For LJ's birthday, his Me-Maw got him this "better batter" baseball set.  At first, the ESPN song and "swing batter" sounds made him nervous.  Now, however, he will get a bat, hand you a glove and hit to you for as long as you'd like!  His only request - that you help him collect the balls for reloading!  :)

Like Cats Sleeping With Dogs...

My dad used to always say, "That's like cats sleeping with dogs" when speaking of something that was rare.  Well, Rookie has put the saying into action!  His new friend, Smudge, comes calling at our back door, meowing for him to play.  They truly are buddies!!

Cormier Family Pictures

I don't think I've gotten to post our family pictures from the Cormier side of the family.  Here are two of my favorites!!!

LJ and Addie...This is LJ's new "smile on cue"  :)  Sometimes, he closes his eyes, other times, he just shows his teeth!  His cousin, Addie is just as beautiful as can be!

My favorite of the family pictures we took on Sunday!

Backyard Play

We have had such a good time in Lafayette - here are some pictures of LJ and Rookie playing outside in the morning sun!

Sittin' on a a bucket, "fixin' " the gazebo
Sweet, sweet pup, ready to fetch a ball

ready to play

This is his two-year-old I'm about to throw a tantrum face...do you want some of that?

This is his I'm sweet as an angel face- there are two sides to every two-year-old :)

No place for kids

Lance and I got to enjoy watching the tide roll this weeekend in Baton Rouge.  It was a great experience because the LSU fans are SOOO into the game.  They say that the crowd has registered on the school's richter scale before - I am betting that happened again last night.  It was an ugly game, but we pulled it out in overtime.   Roll Tide!!!

27 - 21 Final Score in Overtime!

If you look closely, you can see the football in the sky above the flag from the kick-off!

Roooolll Tide!

Me, Lance, Shiela and Billy before the game

Tiger Stadium belongs to the Bama Faithful tonight!

Headed out again!

Well, tomorrow morning after a dr. appt, we are headed out to Lafayette.  We will be spending the week there visiting family and friends, then heading to the LSU/Bama game!!!  LJ won't be joining us - just Lance and I!  Sad and so exciting...all at the same time!  :)

I hope you are well - I'll take lots of great pictures, and I even have a few to post of today's visit with Uncle B when I finish packing and maybe slow down tonight.  Please keep in touch!!!!
Love,
Jamie

3 New Posts!

What a weekend!  We had a visit to the barnyard Friday morning, Trick-or-Treating Friday night, then an awesome Homecoming game on Saturday.  I hope you enjoy the pictures - just scroll down!!!

Have a great weekend!

P.S.  Happy 2nd Birthday, LJ!  We love you so much!

Roll Tide!!!

Hanging out on the quad before the game

Linds came into town to spend the weekend - we had such a blast!  What  fun time to have her with us!!

B-A-M-A!!

Shakin' our shakers to the fight song!

Bam Bam's Trick or Treat!!

Sometimes, you gotta open up the M&M's immediately :)

My first real trick or treat!

Ms. Doris, showing him where his candy goes!

Bam Bam with his mom and dad

I know he got stuff from both Lance and I, but seriously...this picture is all me!  That's his momma's 2 year old face staring back from behind that wig!

Tuscaloosa Barnyard!

What a fun day!

My boys...who's cuter?  I can't decide.

We made a friend!  The former owner of this goat treated her like a dog...walking her around the neighborhood, so she wasn't fazed by the activity!

My friend, Wilbur ...at just 11 weeks, he weighs about as much as LJ.  He was falling asleep in my arms!!

Revisiting my days with Ferdinand.  This precious duck let me love on him for a while.

Well, Friday, we went to the Tuscaloosa barnyard.  It was such a great time, (especially for me!)  It is a farm that opens their doors on Friday mornings to the public.  It has pigs, ducks, ponies, goats...you name it!  What an awesome time!
