Happy 4th Birthday, Cole!

Well, I can't believe it, but our kids are growing up lightening fast! Tasha's little boy, Cole, just celebrated his 4th birthday. We don't get to see him much, so it was special to spend this time with them!

Cormier Family Visit

Well, the off-season is beginning to wrap up, and we are having our last visits with family and friends. This weekend, we had the Cormier crew in! Nana, Pops, Heather, Jeremy and Addie were all here, and we had a great weekend! I didn't really take many pictures, and I have no excuse! I guess I just got caught up in the playing and forgot to grab the camera! It was a wonderful visit!

2009 BCS National Champions

I know, a "ROOLLL TIDE!" post is in order, but this one came first.  I just spent some great time with my favorite person, and I wanted to share this photo.  I took it from across the lunch table.  He looks at me like this all the time, and I can see the love in his eyes.  I'm so blessed.

Christmas Hodge Podge

We had a wonderful Christmas morning!  Opening Presents with LJ was a new event this year - he's growing up, and he was so excited!  I didn't take many pictures because I was kind of "in the moment", but I did remember my camera once arriving at My grandmother's for a celebration in Atlanta.  I haven't seen my cousins in over a year, and it was wonderful to see family on this special holiday.  We missed the Cormier side - one of the many times we wish we could pull all our homes closer to be together.  I hope your Christmas was as blessed as ours and that 2010 is the best year yet for you!

Baseball Country weekend

I had to share these from our weekend at Baseball Country out in Jena, AL.   LJ is not a camper yet, (the youngest campers this weekend were 7), but that didn't stop him from having a blast!  He played like he belonged there - what a wonderful place and a wonderful weekend!  I hope yours was wonderful, too!

For Christmas, LJ got catcher's gear.  He asked Santa, but all they had was a set for 9 year olds.  Of course, his wonderful dad tailored them to almost fit him perfectly!  He still walks like he has boards attached to the back of his knees, but he's happy to do it!

This is LJ in LAYERS at baseball country.  It has been FREEZING here for like 2 weeks, but these kids played ball by the bonfire like it was mid-summer.  LJ's standing on first, but really it was just his resting spot as he ran around the bases over and over!

After dinner, they are having story time.  LJ is trying his best to sit like the big boys at camp :)
