Bath time!

Well, we were planning on heading to the pool, but the AC man is coming any time, so we decided to make an indoor pool!  I would have pulled out the monkey, but I think the lawn is being sprayed for weeds later.  LJ cracked me up in these bubbles...I just about jumped in with him because it looked like so much fun.  I posted some pictures of Kacy and Tomy earlier below, and these are from just a bit ago.  Have a great day!

What a great day!!

Well, the house is quiet with just LJ, Rookie and I now that the sweet girls have gone.  I have a ton of pictures to go through, so I won't be able to post them until tomorrow.  It was a very memorable visit and a great time had by all...especially LJ with his cousins!  I'll post some pics tomorrow.  Can't wait!

Kacy and Tomy are here, and it has been a WONDERFUL visit so far.  We got to have some play time at the pool, a birthday dinner for "Uncle B", (I need to get a picture of him - how did I miss him blowing out the candles?!), and then some good play time at our house.  The bad news is that they are sleeping in a hotel tonight -- my air conditioner is out AGAIN, so it's like 86 degrees upstairs.  There is now way they wanted to sleep up there, and the part won't be available till Tuesday afternoon.  They will be back ASAP tomorrow morning, though, to spend the day here again.  My mom was nice enough to drive them through here for a wonderful visit, and my sister is picking them up tomorrow afternoon to take them back with her.  Yay!  What a fun time!

LJ and I went to church this morning...he didn't like the nursery too much, so it wasn't a great time.  On a good note, though, we found a turtle on our way home!  It was in the middle of the road and wouldn't move.  I directed traffic around it for a bit before just picking it up and driving it home with me.  I made it a nice spot in our hedge and went to get it some leaves, berries and water in a pyrex dish.  When I got back to give him his little treat, he was gone!  Who said turtles were slow?

So, that's our day.  We're missing Lance A TON, (love you!), but are thankful for the sweet company and familiar home, (even if it is hot in here!)  I hope you had a great weekend and enjoy the pictures!

Well, we had SUCH a good visit with the Heinze family!  They boys played so well together, and it was great to visit with Tasha and Heath while holding baby Elle.  She is so precious!  I hate that this is such a short post, but I am worried that my upstairs AC unit is broken again.  It's just blowing semi-warm air, so I'm headed to the attic to check some things out, (like I know what I'm doing?)  I have to get it working because Kacy, Tomy and Me-Maw are coming tomorrow!!  I'm hoping it was just the 100 degree heat we had today that's rising...we'll see!

Well, LJ is napping and I wanted to upload some pics from this morning before I did some cleaning up!  He is having a great day, and we got to play on his rocking horse this morning.  Also, there's a picture of him in my UGG boots...he looks like a sorority girl!  They wear those things in 70 degree temps with shorts.  He'd already fit in at the University :)
