I'm still working through the pics I took on family day. Here's a couple more. Can you tell LJ had a good time? :)

Yes! It's the annual Family Day post. LJ has a better time each year because he is able to play and have a great time more as he grows. We are so thankful to be doing this as a family. How lucky we are! I hope you enjoy the pics!!

My favorite one, I think :)

Now, that's a good day! In the past week, LJ has fallen asleep on a jet-ski in Alabama, now a boat in Florida! On our off day Monday, we went on the boat with Mr. Bob. Mr. Bob is our neighbor, but he's also like a surrogate grandparent to L.J. L.J. constantly hangs on him, splashes him in the pool, does all the loud, obnoxious things a three-year-old does, and Mr. Bob can't get enough. When we're away, he says it's too quiet, and when Lj's at the pool or around, he finds a way to be nearby. We are blessed to have him!

On of the places we "parked" the boat was on a HUGE sandbar. LJ found these two sand dollars by simply digging in the sand beneath his feet. We could have brought home hundreds if we wanted, but we took just these two. It made me a bit sad to "take them alive", so to speak, but one day they will make wonderful memories of a great day out together.

Here's Mr. Bob and L.J. on the way back to the boat. LJ is already falling asleep and he's only been in his arms for like 5 seconds. :)

Running on the sand bar. Lance, LJ and Mr. Bob played an entire baseball game there :)

I loved these clouds rolling in. It was a beautiful day!

Oh, yes he does! We all do - we had a great trip home! Click on the link above..even though Lance has no idea when he was interviewed for this thing or how? Oh well! Enjoy!

OK, so if this doesn't give you baby fever...you better check your pulse! I had two friends give birth within the last two days! This is just one of them, but I had to share. Holding him brought back so many great memories of when we brought LJ home!
Precious!!

Go Rays!

What's a trip to Atlanta without going to see a ball game as a family? I'll tell you what...a trip that's almost impossible outside of the off-season! LOL We had a wonderful time together as a family! The kids were great, the weather was perfect, but the Rays lost. Well, two out of three ain't bad! Enjoy the pics! It was an AWESOME few days! We are so blessed!

April and her girls :)

Maw-Maw with her favorite MLB player :)

I caught him day-dreaming as he watched :)

An off day on the lake!

Call us crazy, or call us homesick, but we flew to Alabama yesterday for a day off before the Atlanta series. It was SO worth it!!! Between lunch with buddies and a day on the lake with friends, we filled this day to the top! I wanted to upload pics before we had some friends over for the evening. Tomorrow, we are Atlanta bound! Expect more pics soon! :)

Laughing with Uncle Jarret - we had SO much fun!!!

So we thought we were going to skip nap time...evidently not. Semi-high speeds on a jet-ski exhilarate most, but Uncle Wood was boring LJ to sleep!

He needed a break. "Pull me up!"

Of course the jet-ski is NOT on, but he loved the freedom of sitting on it by himself.

But his favorite was riding with his BESTEST buddy :)

Late pics

Well, I finally got these off my camera. Just some cute ones from the past few weeks - I need to pick up my camera more! It has been sitting in its bag a lot lately :) I had a great night with LJ tonight - Ice cream by the bay, walking distance from the house, followed by a great hour of "hitting cranks" in the field by the water. Awesome night. I'll bring my camera next time :)

LJ & Annie - My precious friend, Julia's little girl

At one point, Julia, Annie, LJ & I were all walking holding hands, (and taking up most of the sidewalk with our little foursome), and I thought, "the world is a pretty good place right here!"

Sweet friends

A blast from the past! LJ & I got to play with a friend of mine from High School, Brandy Beekman, and her three kiddos. So much fun!

Blogging Hiatus

So sorry it's taken me so long to get back on here! I have been horrible lately about updating, but we have been busy! Since The beginning of the season, I don't think we've spent a week without company or a week without traveling somewhere, (so fun!), but that has left little time to update. L.J. and I just returned from Dallas this afternoon. Nana and Pops were there and spent TONS of time with LJ, which means Lance and I got lots of time together as well. Everybody wins! The weekend was filled with ball games, trips to the pool, (TINY indoor one at the hotel), hitting some "cranks" in the hotel room, (LJ and Pops, mostly), and a few dates for Lance and I. LJ slept in Nana and Pops' room and always "slept till it was green" so he could stay the next night.

SIDEBAR** "Sleeping till it's green" -- LJ has the GREATEST clock that turns yellow at bedtime and green when he's allowed out of bed. It has changed our lives, seriously, and you can find it by clicking here if you are in need of help in getting your toddler/preschooler to sleep! My mom found it in American Innovations magazine, but they are out of stock. Amazon has them for the same price, (again, see the link). We started with it in our bedtime routine, and when we knew he understood it, he got a matchbox car, (or something similar) when he didn't get up at all until the light turned green. It was almost instant success, and after downgrading to marshmallow peeps, down to breakfasts in jerseys, (exactly what it sounds), we have a good routine. To have the joys of parenthood AND sleep - you can't beat it! We don't go anywhere without that clock, but I'm thinking that soon the routine will be strong enough that we won't need it.

Well, anyway, back to our trip - So, LJ slept and played with Nana and Pops in the evenings while Lance and I went to dinner, walked around Sundance Square and even went to a Sammy Kershaw concert. It was awesome! I am so sorry I don't have pictures, but I didn't take many. Most of the time, I was just soaking up time with Lance. I don't get it very often, and I didn't want a camera weighing us down! Just lipgloss and a hair tie in his pocket, and we were off! WONDERFUL!

Now, we're back for the week, and headed to Alabama and Atlanta next week. It looks like we'll be traveling somewhere every other week at least until August. Sometimes it's tiring, but when we look back, we'll always be thankful for these adventures. So, bring on the planes and hotels - LJ & I are seasoned travelers! Love it! I hope you are doing well, and I promise to post more later. I'm just tired and want to pick up our clutter before retiring for the night!
